Working it through the fabric, gently knead but never use hard scrubbing motions or bristle brushes as these can damage the fabric. While washing bedding at home is generally safe, certain items such as wool blankets can be problematic and allowing items to dry for too long in a home dryer can cause excessive pilling—something that’s difficult if not impossible to get rid of.
